Kirsten was born in The Netherlands. She has been brought up with a healthy appetite for adventure and exploring the world. Kirsten left The Netherlands in September 2007 for a year of adventure in Australia and New Zealand. She enjoyed Australia so much that she decided to stay there!

So far, Kirsten has been to East Africa, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Australia and lots of European countries. She is very much looking forward to her big Mongolian adventure!
 

From the age of 8 Kirsten has been around horses. Starting out on little naughty Shetland ponies, up to riding dressage, showjumping, endurance, eventing and flat racing.

Nowadays she keeps herself busy by training racehorses with her partner Paul Dyson. Besides the racehorses Kirsten has got a passion for endurance riding, she competes during the season with her arab DJ.
